Panelists:


Claire Holloway is Manager of Publisher Relations for OCLC and the chairperson of the Book Industry Study Group’s Metadata Committee. Before making a mid-life decision to turn her focus to the library space, Claire had worked in editorial and production roles at McGraw-Hill and Oxford University Press and was most recently the Metadata and Ebook Services manager for Baker & Taylor Publisher Services. 


Jessica Lachhar (Flareau) is the Senior Manager of SEO & Affiliate Marketing at Barnes & Noble. She has worked in SEO for 10 years with additional experience in organic social media marketing, A/B testing, and affiliate marketing. She enjoys the ever changing landscape of digital marketing, working on both the content and technical sides of SEO, and keeping up with search trends.


Sarah McNaughton is a journalist-turned-SEO-and-content-strategist. She recently founded McNaughton Digital Media, a full-service content strategy and SEO consulting agency that helps businesses and individuals improve their websites and online visibility. Prior to McNaughton Digital Media, Sarah worked at Livestrong.com, Bauer Xcel Media, Hearst, and Everyday Health. Connect with her on LinkedIn here.


Christy Mirabal has worked for companies such as SiriusXM, Sony Music Entertainment, Stitcher, Panoply Media, Frederator Networks Inc., HarperCollins Publishers, and Bloomsbury. She has a proven track record of building and leading marketing teams, optimizing costs, and increasing audience engagement and brand visibility across high-profile shows, brands, and platforms.


Moderator:

Bridget Marmion spent over a decade each at FSG, Random House and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, mostly as SVP of Marketing. Bridget now runs a full-service marketing firm, Bridget Marmion Book Marketing LLC.  She is also on the BISG board, on the BISG Metadata Committee, and on the advisory board of Pace University Masters in Publishing Program.

  • Earlier than 24 hours before the event: If you know you'll be unable to use your ticket more than 24 hours before an event, you can request a full refund by emailing info@womensmediagroup.org, OR you can donate the fee to the nonprofit Women's Media Group Educational Foundation by not requesting a refund.
  • Within 24 hours before an event: No refunds. These ticket fees will automatically be converted to a donation to the Women's Media Group Educational Foundation.
