WMG provides fellowships to students of the Publishing Certificate Program at City College of New York (CUNY) and sponsors scholarships in collaboration with these universities: the Columbia University Publishing Course, the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Film and Media program, Fordham University, the NYU Summer Publishing Course, and Pace University's Masters in Publishing program. WMG also partners with Girls Write Now, a nonprofit organization focused on mentoring teens from historically and systemically underserved communities.
