WMG Scholars

The intention of the WMG Scholars program is to extend the benefits received by our ambitious young WMG Scholarship and Fellowship recipients. Beginning in 2020, all students who receive financial support from Women’s Media Group Educational Foundation also have the option to join WMG as members with full benefits for three years—and their membership fees are waived for this period while they're in school or starting their media careers. We hope that this will enable each WMG Scholar to participate in all of our networking events, career-development programs and workshops, and opportunities to socialize.

We're fully committed to supporting the next generation of media superstars and innovators, and recognize that everyone has something to contribute.

WMG Scholarships

The Women’s Media Group is thrilled to sponsor several major financial scholarships, through our non-profit Women’s Media Group Educational Foundation, with top-rated publishing programs as part of our ever-expanding efforts to support and retain talented young women in the publishing and media sectors. WMG Fellowships

Every summer, Women's Media Group awards several Fellowships to young women from diverse backgrounds who are attending or have completed the Publishing Certificate Program at City College of New York using funds raised through Women’s Media Group Educational Foundation. Fellows receive a stipend to help cover their living costs as they participate in WMG networking and social events, and meet our members for organized one-on-one mentoring. Our goal is to help our Fellows establish careers in media beyond their summer course, and to eventually welcome them as members later in their career.
