A note from your host: In the 1870s, the first boathouse was constructed on the eastern shore of Central Park's lake by Park co-designer Calvert Vaux. Since then, the Central Park Boathouse has been one of the Park's most iconic structures and popular destinations. Today, it is a recently re-opened and re-envisioned restaurant with idyllic views and a varied American menu. Join WMG co-President Jennifer A. Perry there for a summer luncheon to learn more about the history of Central Park (where Jennifer is a volunteer tour guide) and to meet other WMG members, surrounded by one of Manhattan's most photographed spots.
WMG’s small group gatherings are a long-standing tradition and remain one of our most popular program series. This is a wonderful way to facilitate meaningful connections among members. If there is a cost involved in this event, it will be shared equitably amongst attendees. This could mean paying for your own meal at a restaurant or contributing equally to any collective costs, such as wine, that benefit the group as a whole. If you have any specific questions, please reach out to the host directly. All member contact information can be found in the Member Directory.
This event is in-person at the Central Park Boathouse, Manhattan.
