Join us for a Literary Tea to Benefit WMG’s Educational Foundation! Women’s Media Group members Carol Hoenig and Peggy Zieran, former indie bookstore owners and partners in book marketing company, On the Road Book Events, are hosting a fall edition of their popular literary tea series at Long Island’s Molloy University. Featuring a highly esteemed group of women authors with vastly diverse careers as writers, this not-to-be-missed event will sell out quickly, so register today! A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to WMG’s Educational Foundation, which directly supports our annual scholarships, fellowships, and members-only professional development opportunities.

The guest authors are:

Helen Ellis, author of Kiss Me in the Coral Lounge: Intimate Confessions from a Happy Marriage, Bring Your Baggage and Don't Pack Light, Southern Lady Code, American Housewife and Eating the Cheshire Cat. Ellis describes herself as a poker player and plant lady.

Patty Lin, author of End Credits: How I Broke Up with Hollywood and former TV writer and producer whose credits include Freaks and Geeks, Friends, Desperate Housewives, and Breaking Bad. She has also written pilots for Fox, CBS, and Nickelodeon. Her Breaking Bad episode, "Gray Matter," was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Script in the Episodic Drama category. She retired from television writing to pursue other interests and occasionally appears in background acting roles.

Rosemary Wells, author and illustrator of more than one hundred and twenty books for children, including If You Believe in Me.

Carol Hoenig, Author, Publishing Consultant, and WMG Board member, will moderate the discussion.
